Werners Original Bobotie Mix
Bobotie is a South African dish with its roots in Malaysia. It is a Cape Town favourite.
It has a very mild, sweet curry flavour and is vaguely similar to meatloaf. Traditionally made with Beef, Lamb or a combination of both. The minced meat is cooked with a couple of slices of milk soaked bread. The remaining milk is mixed with egg and poured over the pre cooked mince before placing in the oven. Serve with yellow rice (a teaspoon of turmeric in the cooking rice), sliced banana and dessicated coconut with a generous amount of Mrs Balls chutney.
